Can you alter a ready to ship item? Can I place a custom order?
Possibly. Some ready to ship pieces may be resized, within certain limitations- if that's all you need, please email Mandy at email@example.com. If you'd like to incorporate your own sea glass or design ideas into a special creation, please read through our Bespoke (Custom) Creations page for a better idea of what to expect.
What's your shipping policy?
Since all items are carefully made to order, it normally takes 2-5 business days to make your item. Default shipping is via USPS Priority Mail (5-7 days within the US). This means that on average, you should expect to receive your item 2 weeks after the order is placed. (During the Christmas holiday season, it can take even longer!) If you need your item sooner, please contact me.
If an item is lost or delayed during the delivery process, your first steps should be to report the loss/delay to the Post Master at your local Post Office and file a report with the U.S. Postal Investigative Service.
If you are returning or exchanging an item, please consider using a trackable shipping service and insurance to ensure your transaction can be completed. (Returns and exchanges cannot be conducted unless I receive the item!)
Can I return something?
Returns are accepted on REGULAR priced merchandise within 30 days of delivery. (NO RETURNS ON SALE MERCHANDISE.) Original packaging is not required as long the item is in saleable condition. Cost of shipping is borne by the customer unless I send an incorrect item. Please note that there is variance in all hand made items. Rings must exceed +/- a quarter size, necklaces and bracelets must exceed +/- 3/10 or 0.3 inches to be considered an "incorrect item." Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
What happens if I need something resized or repaired after purchase?
Due to the delicate nature of hand crafted jewelry, occasional repairs may be needed. If any of your pieces break during "normal use," please contact me with a detailed description of what happened. Include a picture of the issue if possible. Repair or replacement due to normal wear and tear within the year of purchase is complimentary. Please bear in mind that all jewelry is delicate and should not be expected to survive repeated exposure to chemicals (including perfumes, lotions, and soap), salt water, trips through the laundry, etc. Sterling silver and fine silver may be cleaned or polished using commercially available products, baking soda, or toothpaste. Base metals, pearls, shells, and leather may be wiped with a soft damp cloth and should not be exposed to acidic or abrasive cleaners.
Can you fix something for me?
Sorry, I do not repair items that I didn't make. There are too many variables to be able to assess what materials, tools, and techniques would be needed to make an effective repair. However, I may be able to help you redesign or repurpose the item!
Do you do wholesale orders or volume discounts?
Yes! Please contact Mandy at firstname.lastname@example.org to order. Minimum order to receive volume discount pricing is $500.
